Work as a bike mechanic on Gran Canaria

Who are we? Life On 2 Wheels turns passion into lifestyle by offering premium quality bike rental and workshop services to our guests. Located in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, we’re in the optimal place for cycling during the winter months with a broad customer base from allover Europe. We’re a small team of passionate cyclists, and we are now in search of a new seasonal mechanic that fit into our team. Maybe it’s you?

Main tasks

Maintenance and preparation of premium rental bikes
Detailed repair and diagnosis of high-end customer bikes
Working independently and carrying out repairs according to the latest / highest standards

Qualifications

Passion for bicycles
Curious, want to learn new things and "nothing is impossible" attitude
Good technical understanding
Professional experience (Shimano Di2, Sram AXS, hydraulic brakes, tubeless, wheel truing)
High working capacity, organised and precise
Great degree of self-motivation and ability to work efficiently
Open communication and ability to work in a team
English language is mandatory, German, Scandinavian, Spanish is a bonus
Drivers licence for car

Season start in October-November
Season end in March-April
Possibility of a permanent job (seasonal contract)
